grass and spoons

so yesterday Richard William and I went for a walk, and instead of just walking in a big circle just to get back home again like we normally do, i decided to let him get out and play. It was a beautifully sunny day with a cool breeze, and some dry grass just for him. he loved it. so we plan on making a habit out of it.
this morning i ventured into feeding him some oatmeal cereal for the first time in a few days, he didnt like it too much the frst time we tried. today he did pretty well. he kept grinning when i tried putting the spoon in his mouth, and suprised me when he suddenly grabbed hold of the spoon and attempted to get it in his mouth on his own. yay for cute kids.
in big people news, Rich is almost done with the semester, a couple more weeks to go. This weekend he has a 3 day campng trip to go on for a class, and i get to stay home with R.W. by myself. I have been keeping busy with the never ending task of cleaning and changing diapers, but have found time to make use of my skills and some cute fabric to make some place mats and napkins. other than that it is the same old.
we are still waiting to hear from Micron, only 2 out of the 7 jobs he has applied for have rejected him so far, so there is still hope. the one he would really like to do has been reviewed a couple of times, but not rejected yet so we are very very hopeful. things are looking good on the apartment front, there are a few places that will most likely have something for us, and the prices are really nice, at least compared to where we are now.

well that is all for now, have a great day!!
