6 Months

So Richard William has officially been around for 6 months, and i must say they were pretty much the best 6 months ever, i can't wait for the next set. Despite the complaining about naps, and the occasional tired fit, he has been the mellowest sweetest little guy i have ever met. He has become a master at mealtimes, eating all of his food, and rarely ever being too messy. there are times when he will throw a fit because he doesn't have the spoon, or when he does have it realizes it doesn't magically refill with food. He loves strawberries, he will sit and suck/ chew on one until i force it away from him. He has almost perfected the army crawl, and we are so proud of him for all that he has learned to do. I am grateful for him reminding me that i need to clean, so he can get down and play. He loves bathtime, and i love watching him play in the water. There is something about watching the little guy try and chase rubberducks around the tub that just makes my day. He always has a good story to tell too. when he gets going it's the cutest thing. he will just chatter away, the best part is that he gets monkey lips when he does it. His hair is always standing on end, and it's this nice blondish brown color. I'm curious to see what color it ends up being. He loves people, it's pretty great. Anywhere we go he will give people the biggest two dimple grin, which generally attracts the sweet old ladies who tell me how adorable he is and how lucky i am. Not that i need to be told how lucky i am, i'm aware of that fact. He has the biggest blue eyes that love to explore, and i hope he continues to find joy in exploration. he loves to go on walks, and swing at the park, and is pretty fond of the slide as well. i would have to say my absolute favorite thing though is the morning grins, everymorning, no matter if he woke up crying or not, he always has a grin for me. It starts my day off great. I wish all alarm clocks smiled at me in the morning. I could probably sit here all day and think of a million reasons why i love my little guy, but i have dinner to make and rooms to clean. Have a happy day!!
