So a little has happened since I last posted. Obviously I haven't found any better ways to spend my free time...
So we will start with Ginny. Ginny is getting big, like probably weighs 15 pounds at 3 months big. Her hair is coming in blonde, and she has a brown mohawk and mullett that refuse to rub out, go ahead and laugh at her, we do. She is always wanting to sit up and has great head control. She has the cutest giggle, and loves to have her daddy time. She is a sweet little lady, and we love her.
Richard is tall. He is talking more, testing boundaries more, and making me love him more. He has a favorite book. It's called Dig!, I am not allowed to put him down for a nap or bedtime with out reading it to him. If I forget or try a different story all I hear is "Dih? Dih!". He loves trucks, trains and most anything on wheels. Thanks to our good friend Michelle, he now has a few more than he used to and they are his favorites. He loves riding his bike, almost everytime we go outside he starts saying bike, and often he is dissapointed to find that we are not going to play but we are gettign into the car instead. He loves to help anyway he can, will "say prayers" with a little help from mom, and will "sing" I am a child of god with me. It's crazy to think that it wasn't that long ago that he was the same age as Ginny. Boy do they grow fast!
Me, well I have been busy. I have figured out that I enjoy making dolls, by the time I finish the ones I am working on I will be ready to be done, but for now it's fun. I have also started a cross stitch pattern. I started that because of my love fo hand embroidery, I figured it was pretty much the same thing, so I should try it. I am ALMOST done with the embroidery on RW's quilt, give me a month or so and it might be ready to quilt and bind... maybe. I have a few other projects that I hope to start soon and again, a big thanks to Michelle for getting me the fabric that would be perfect inspiration for it! Oh, who is Michelle you ask? Well she is my friend and the mom of RW's playmates, and she just moved, and it sucks. We will miss her and her family, but we wish them the best of luck in their newest adventure in life.
Rich, well he has the biggest news. First of all he is the Assistant Ward Clerk Over Finance for the ward. Long title, big job. He is excited, and so far thinks it will be a good experience for him. The other news is that he is now the Store Manager. Please hold your applause. It kinda sucks. We are grateful for the blessing of the financial help it will bring and the experience he will gain, but, the timing was just horrible, and it was all very sudden. The current manager walked out for reasons we will not disclose online, and so effective immediately Rich has a lot of responsibility. It's right in the middle of his semester, and so now Rich has to hire a new employee to cover the shifts he is in class for, has to follow through last minute with projects that the old store manager had been working on, and is just a bit overwhelmed with it all at the moment.
We are loving life and the adventure it brings, and look forward to working through all of the fun things life has to offer us together. For those who are faraway reading this, we miss you and love you, and wish we could see you more often than we do. For those close by we are grateful for your friendship and all you do for us in so many ways.
