We spent a couple weeks trading illnesses, and now I think we are all doing fine(knock on wood). Ginny is teething but we have teething medicine and toys for her so she should be good. Rw is teething as well with his second molars coming in, he is mostly unaffected though.
RW is talking more, but I still don't know what he says half of the time, if he puts more than one "word" together all I get is da di dy dooda di dee, so no real words. Ginny is a littel chatterbox as well, but at 6 months RW didn't really say much at all so it will be interesting to see how soon she starts using real words.
Currently RW really likes the movie Love Bug, it's the only one we have thats about cars. He is pretty funny about it, when you start it since it's the older one the have the Beuna Vista screen that pops up before the movie actually starts, and he will always freak out like "where are the cars mom this isn't what I wanted!" but then it goes straight to carws on a race track and he gets the best look on his face ever, the excitement he shows is great.
He has been a stinket about staying in bed for naps and bedtime, but last night was a little better than some previous ones so I am optimistic.
Ginny is sleeping well as long as her teeth aren't bothering her, so we are planning to put Ginny and RW in the same room soon. Ginny's crib has been taking up space in our room. She is also crawling now and does a beautiful job of sitting herself up. she loves to get her hands on anything she can find. She loves playing with her big brother, and devours mum-mums like no other, I am nota fan though of the muchy mess they make so I will probably not buy anymore after this box runs out. She is getting too big for her 9 month clothes, so we have started her into 12 month. RW is between 2t/3t right now, he is tall enough for 3t for the most part but just too scrawny for the pants to stay up.
Rich started his new semester and we now have a crazy schedule. He is basically gone all day everyday, and has the car since he is generally going straight from one thing to the next. Which leaves me stuck at home, and only able to plan things for the 2 days he actually gets home before dinner.
We haven't really gotten snow, we got 4 inches for one day and then it's been raining ever since. So we have been cooped up inside for the last little bit and I am definitely in a slump when it comes to being motivated to get things done.
We are getting a small storage unit at the end of this week to store some of the things that we don't use right now but can't justify getting rid of. So I eventually need to get stuff pulled together for that. We figure that if we do that then we can manage staying in our 2 bedroom apartment a little longer without feeling too cramped. Having stuff stored off site will be a little annoying, but it should be worth it.
So last night I tried something with my hair and it made for a hilarious morning. My hair is just hitting shoulder length, so it probably isn't long enough to really get the desired effect, but I rag rolled my hair. When I took it out this morning I looked like a puffy headed clown, it was great. I thought about taking a picture but wasn't willing to embarass myself that much. it reminded me a little of the time my mom did the foam hair curlers in my hair for piture day and everyone at school made fun of me. I think that was in third grade.
I have taken a break from sewing, it was started to drive me bonkers, and my room was becoming a big old mess. My most recent project I finished was making some dolls for some of RW's friends and for Ginny and RW. They turned out cute, and hopefully I will get them to their owners soon. I eventually want to make one with brown hair since the ones I made this time have yellow, but that won't be anytime soon.

ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the pattern I would love to make one for Emma. Although I kinda have not sewn in a while either. Miss yall! Can't wait to see ya this summer!
I have so many things to say about this post!! I used to LOVE rag rolling my hair. And I always looked like a poof ball. It was awesome. I totally want to move Ami into Beth's room. I was too worried to put her in there when I transitioned her into the crib. So she got her own room. Which I really don't like. I really want them to share a room! Let me know how it goes. I'm worried about Beth climbing into Ami's crib....eeek...
