With a second kid we knew we would need another dresser, especially since we are having a girl this time. But we also decided it would be nice this time around to have a changing table instead of just getting down on the floor to do it. To do both seperately would take up too much space in the small room that the kids will share. So we kept an eye on craigslist and found this ugly but perfect dresser that we paid $20 for. I requested for my birthday all the things I would need to finish it, and Rich was awesome enough to get them for me.
So after some sanding, painting and new hardware (the original handles were super old school ugly) it is now an adorable dresser. Now I just have to make the drawers a little easier to use....
SO CUTE! We did the same thing with Beth. Having the dresser/changing table has been awesome! We found ours used and it is so great. I can't believe the finished product!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love the way it turned out! You would never have known they were the same dresser. We just use a dresser with the changing pad on top and put the diapers in the top drawer. There's just barely enough space on top for the wipes and hand sanitizer next to the changing pad.
