Oh my....

It's been a while. So I'm not sure what I last reported, but here we go.
So the Fowlers are off in Peru, and we are trying our best to keep house with the three crazy kids.

Owen is now 3.5 months old and rolling in all directions. He prefers tummy time. He is a thumb sucker. I have tried to sell him on the binky but he is not buying it. He looks pretty adorable sucking his thumb though. He is super smiley and giggly, we love him.

Ginny is Ginny. She is in this awful tantrum phase that is driving us nuts, but she is also so adorable that it almost makes up for it. She lives dancing and princesses. We are slowly working into potty training. I am almost ready to dive in full force. Right now she is on the edge of getting sick I think. Hopefully she is over it quick.

Rw is back in speech. We have been considering taking him in for an evaluation for a couple months, and finally got around to it. They told us his intelligibility rate is at a 20% when for his age it should be at around 80%.  So basically he is harder to understand than he should be. So we will be going to speech twice a week for the next year to try and work on changing his speech patterns. The term they used was a phonological delay. They also plan to keep an eye on his eating habits since they are concerned about a few habits he seems to have. Also because they are concerned that he has low oral response.   We also need to have his tonsils checked since they seem larger than average.

The kids were doing a mommy preschool but now that I am driving rw almost 30 min to speech twice a week, we dropped that from our schedule. So we are just doing abcmouse.com with them and they enjoy it.

I am slowly getting the hang of life in a big house. I have almost mastered a laundry routine, and almost always have dinner planned more than 20 minutes before the meal.

We will be spending Halloween at my parents, and I will try to remember to come back and post something.

  1. I can't believe how big they are getting! I'm sure they are even bigger now. I love reading your updates, and I thought I commented when I first read it but I guess not :-)
