a happy little life: Pennsylvania! part two

So after 3 weeks at the Goff family house, I travelled a little ways south to see the Fowlers.

It's nice having our parents live so close to each other, it makes visits easy.

So we got there on Monday afternoon, and settled in. I don't remember what happened on what days, but we went to the outlets and got the kids some winter coats and things, we went to the dairy wehre the kids got to see all sorts of farm animals, we went to story time at the Nazareth Library, and played at an awesomely old school park. We walked through some of Bethlehem and visited some really cute and fun shops. The kids got to help in the garden, dig in the dirt, roll and run down hills, play in a creek, and swim in the hot tub. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the time we had to spen getting to know Rich's parents better. For whatever reason the stars have not been aligned or something, and we just don't get to see them all that often. It's great to see your kids enjoy time with their grandparents, creating memories.

The trip came to a sad end on saturday morning as we packed up the car and headed to the Newark airport. The fowlers flew with us to Denver and helped to entertain the kids during our 3 hour layover, and then we sadi our good byes as we boarded our final flight to Boise. (they were travelling to denver anyway)

With only a few breakdowns from tired kids we exited the plane, slowly made our way out of the terminals, and were greeted by our favorite person of all, and grabbed our bags and headed home.

We had a TON of fun, and hopefully we will get to spend LOTS more time with our families, but until then it's nice to have these memories, and its good to be HOME.
