My friend Vicki's husband, Blair, works at a place call interpath Laboratories, and had told us of a job opening as a processor. Basically he would be labelling and prepping blood samples for the technicians. It would be a decent job to get into, and would give him some good experience. It would also open up for him to train in Phlebotemy if he wanted. We found out recently that the manager is plannig on calling rich for an interview, so hopefully that happens.
While we were in Yellowstone Rich found out that WGU had finished evaluating his transcripts, and will only have 32 credits left once he starts. WGU is set up as 6 month terms, so if he does 2 terms back to back without a break he should be able to finish in a year. HOORAY!! At BSU he still would have about 2.5 years to go so to find out we could be done in about a year was fantastic news. Now he just has to complete and pass the assesments and we are good to go.
So there is a lot of change and new things happening, but it all seems to be looking good.
Speaking of change, they redid the ward boundaries in the stake in order to dissolve one ward into some others, so we lost quite a few families but also gained some. We are still in the same ward, but it will be interesting to see what church is like on sunday with so many new faces, and the absence of some that we have grown to love.
Also, while we were gone our land lords did some work in our kitchen, and now I have more counter and cupboard space. They did a fantastice job, and I love it, I just have to finish getting everything in order.
No relevant pictures this time, sorry....
