SO I took pictures all day long of her, so be prepared!
We didn't do anything too spectacular for the day, but we did have our friend Vicki and her girls over. The kids played and then after we ate some lunch we did cake and ice cream. The day I have a child who just digs right in to their cake on their first birthday is going to be a miracle. She finally ate some, but not a whole lot. Ariana, our friend from upstairs came down to enjoy the festivities as well. After cake and ice cream we did presents, again, when I have a kid that just starts ripping things open it will be a miracle. I am the official present opener in this house haha.
She got, A Cabbage Patch Kid, a JellyCat Hippo (best stuffed animals ever), a sun hat, 2 baby My Little Ponies, an inflatable horse punching bag from Abby and Chloe, 2 dresses and a book from Grandma Fowler (we opened these in yellowstone), and some of the "original" little people made by fisher price from Grandma Goff.
After presents we went outside to play, and then Vicki and Blair took us out to dinner at the Golden Corral. It was yummy and we had a fantastic time. I am grateful for great friends.
Ginny seemed to have a fantastic day, and we are so blessed to have her as part of our family. At her Dr. appt on the 5th she weighed 22lbs and was 30" tall. Rw at that age was 21 lbs, and 30.5" tall.
