Magic Resevoir is fairly close to where we were camping, and since Rich wanted to do a lot of fishing, we thought we would check it out.
It was very big, and very pretty, BUT geez is it hard to get to. So having never been there, we headed out in the general direction and saw a sign that said the resevoir was 5 miles that a way. So we start down that road, and a little ways on there is a sign that warned the road was I believe Winding and Narrow, maybe dirt, not sure. The BIG thing it left out was crazy steep and on a cliff at points. Good thing we don't have a rinky dink little car haha.
Long story short after 5 miles of crazy road we find that there is nothing down there but some privately owned cabins. We turned around and headed back to the main road to see if you could get to the otherside of the resevoir from where we currently were, It looked much more welcoming.
We were glad we didn't take longer turning around because a garbage truck headed down that road right as we were getting off it.
We drove down the road a little further, saw a sign that said resevoir that a way 10 miles. This drive kept getting longer.... So we get there and I have to say we were a bit dissapointed. There were some docks, and and it was obviously more of an attraction for boaters. The most exciting thing, and I guess worthwhile, was that there was an old fire truck and train car that RW got to see. He was in little boy heaven.

| A view after we turned around, I promise this picture does not give any justice to what the road was really like. |

| RW is mad about a. sitting in the car and b. we had to leave the train and firetruck behind. The chocolate bribe did not work on him. |
That's funny they have a richfield fire truck down there. My sister in law grew up about 5 minutes from there and now my high school plays richfield in sports.
